Our sweet baby boy, Yeshua, is only 6 months old and has already faced more challenges than most do in a lifetime. He currently weighs just 9 lbs and was born with several medical complications that make every day a fight for him.

Yeshua was born with cataracts, and because his eyes are so small, he is unable to have surgery at this time. Doctors have considered him legally blind. He was also born with a small jaw, which makes it impossible for him to feed by mouth. Because of this, he had to undergo surgery to receive a G-tube in his stomach for nourishment.

His small jaw also causes breathing difficulties, and he recently had another surgery to place a tracheostomy tube to help him breathe. Yeshua spent two months in the NICU, and while we were blessed to have him home for a short time, he has been in and out of the hospital ever since. He is currently in the PICU at Randall’s Children’s Hospital, continuing his fight with incredible strength and courage.

As his parents, we are doing everything we can to be by his side and give him the love and care he needs. The medical expenses, travel, and time away from work have been overwhelming, and we are humbly asking for support. Any donation—big or small—will go directly toward Yeshua’s care, medical needs, and helping us stay strong for him during this difficult journey.

Nuestro dulce bebé, Yeshua, tiene solo 6 meses y ya ha enfrentado más desafíos que la mayoría en toda una vida. Actualmente pesa solo 9 libras y nació con varias complicaciones médicas que hacen que cada día sea una lucha para él.

Yeshua nació con cataratas, y debido a que sus ojitos son muy pequeños, por ahora no puede tener cirugía. Los doctores lo han considerado legalmente ciego. También nació con una mandíbula pequeña, lo que le impide alimentarse por la boca. Por esta razón, tuvo que someterse a una cirugía para colocarle una sonda G en su estómago para poder alimentarse.

Su mandíbula pequeña también le causa problemas para respirar, y recientemente tuvo otra cirugía para colocarle una traqueostomía que le ayuda a respirar. Yeshua pasó dos meses en la UCIN, y aunque tuvimos la bendición de tenerlo en casa por un corto tiempo, ha estado entrando y saliendo del hospital desde entonces. Actualmente se encuentra en la UCIP en el hospital infantil Randall’s, continuando su lucha con una fuerza y valentía increíbles.

Como sus padres, estamos haciendo todo lo posible para estar a su lado y darle el amor y cuidado que necesita. Los gastos médicos, viajes y el tiempo fuera del trabajo han sido abrumadores, y humildemente pedimos su apoyo. Cualquier donación—grande o pequeña—irá directamente al cuidado de Yeshua, sus necesidades médicas y para ayudarnos a mantenernos fuertes por él durante este difícil camino.
