Hello everyone - thank you for coming to this GoFundMe. I’m Kaitlyn Robrock, and one of my best friends in the world is a lady named Rebecca Simmons. She and I worked together at Disneyland, and she is part of my chosen family (as well as her husband and 3 children). About 5 years ago, Becca had a surgery for an issue she’d dealt with since the birth of her youngest daughter. Over time, it was discovered she has cancerous endometriosis. The intense treatment for that landed her in the hospital many times over the years, and ended up causing other dormant issues to surface, the development of new issues, and unfortunately an incredibly rough miscarriage. In my opinion, she’s a medical marvel, and technically she should’ve died many times over with what she’s suffered. I wish a person as wonderful as her wouldn’t have to live this way.

Their medical insurance barely covers anything, and while they were able to qualify for charity care for families, what remains is still astronomical for their financial state. My goal with this GoFundMe is to help make a dent in their medical debt, and anything beyond that goal would be attributed to future possible medical care - she isn’t out of the woods yet with some of her conditions, and her body has vastly changed after all she’s endured.
