On Monday, July 29, 2024, William Ignacio Ramirez collapsed from sudden cardiac arrest. Just shy of 40, and a father of two, this has shattered the family.

Having welcomed his newborn daughter just three weeks ago, he was giving mom a break and took his one year old to work with him. Without warning, he collapsed and paramedics were called. They attempted life saving measures, but ultimately doctors could not recover a heartbeat.

He was a proud dad, a tremendous tailgating Dolphins fan, loving brother, uncle, and giving person to all. This tragedy has devastated the family and left two children without a plan for their future.

For those that know their family’s story, his first born Lucas is a fighter, overcoming an extreme premie birth and surmounting difficult health conditions. He is all smiles and the spitting image of his father. His 3 week old baby girl is a miracle. Born full-term and healthy, she completed their family and brought so much happiness.
