Donate to Willie and Ziggy's Medical Fund

Hi everyone, my name is Virginia and I have started this fundraiser for my dear friend Abbie and her sweet dogs.

Willie and Ziggy are two 15 year old morkies who have been with Abbie and family since they were 2 months old (and Abbie was 15). They’ve been in Abbie’s sole care for the past 2 years, and are now in their twilight years and needing some extra care and help.

Since June of 2024, both Wil and Zig started showing their age a bit more, and Abbie has provided for them to the best of her ability. They had tooth extractions, regular senior vet exams, and some bouts of belly discomfort, but overall were doing well until about 2 weeks ago.

Ziggy developed pancreatitis, landing him at the vet for a whole day, and then a week of recovery. The following week, Willie developed an unknown gastrointestinal and eye issue, and is currently recovering.

Both were unplanned emergencies and exceptionally costly. With their advanced age, the vet is requesting more exams to make sure there aren’t any underlying issues that will cause a flare up in the future.

Any amount donated will help Abbie cover the emergency vet visits that happened earlier in April, as well as the upcoming ultrasound and other tests Willie and Ziggy have planned. Estimates for Follow Up Exams: $2,266

Medications: $140

Misc (vet visit fees, additional charges): $300
