Hi, my name is Kaila Sanchez, and I’ve spent the past 4+ years working closely with children — as a full-time nanny, program director for the world's leading children’s martial arts organization, and now the founder of something I’ve dreamed about for a long time: Wiggle & Grow Playhouse, a joyful movement-based daycare and indoor play space for children ages 0–5 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

This all started with a simple realization: kids aren’t meant to sit still all day. They’re meant to move, climb, wiggle, explore — and that’s how they learn best. I once cared for a little boy who barely spoke in traditional daycare settings. But the moment we created a space where he could move freely and play at his own pace… everything changed. He lit up, opened up, and started expressing himself with confidence. That moment stuck with me.

So I began dreaming of a space where all children could feel that free — a space filled with colorful mats, rock climbing walls, tunnels, ball pits, books, puzzles, sensory play, and obstacle courses. A place that celebrates curiosity and lets kids learn through joy and movement. A space where families feel seen, supported, and safe.

I’ve poured my heart (and all my savings) into bringing Wiggle & Grow to life — and we’re so close. But as we prepare for our soft opening in September and official launch in October 2025, we’re facing a few big hurdles — including equipment cost, deposits, licensing expenses, and final upgrades to make our space safe and magical.

Even with all the passion in the world, I can’t do this part alone, so we’re raising $2,000 to cover the last essentials. Every dollar will go directly toward creating a magical, nurturing, developmentally rich space for our local kiddos.
