Many of you reading this may know me, but those who don't, my name is Tiffani, and I'm Wesley's older sister. On November 27th, 30 minutes after dropping Wesley at Detroit airport, on his way back to San Diego, Wesley called me to tell me his neighbor's house was on fire and was now spreading to his house. There was nothing any of us could do but wait and watch as photos came in from his neighbor, of his house on fire, and getting bigger and more out of control. It eventually took 14 fire trucks to extinguish both house fires. However, nothing remained of Wesley's house but charred walls, and rubble. Luckily, there were no injuries and Wesley does have home owners insurance, and plans to rebuild. Unfortunately, due to the total loss of his home he is now displaced, and will be for at least a year. He lost a majority of his clothes in the fire and will be in temporary housing for the foreseeable future. Many people have already asked how to help and donating to this fund is definitely a way to make this transition a little easier for him. Your prayers, thoughts, kind words, and donations are definitely appreciated during this hard time.
Many blessings,
Tiffani
