Hi! My name is Tan, owner of Wah Gwan, a Jamaican and Nigerian restaurant built on love, culture, and community. As a Jamaican, my heart breaks watching the devastation caused by the recent hurricane in Jamaica, the island that raised me and continues to inspire everything I do.
Right now, many families are without homes, food, clean water, and basic supplies. So we’re stepping up to do what we can. Wah Gwan is raising funds to help those affected to get relief directly to the people who need it most. We will be personally using these funds to purchase necessities such as food, toiletries, shelter supplies, ongoing relief efforts and paying for the shipping of supplies to Jamaica. I will personally be distributing to the community of Ginger Hill, Merry Hill and Pisgah.
Every donation, no matter how small, will go toward providing essentials, rebuilding lives, and showing our brothers and sisters in Jamaica that they are not forgotten.
From the heart of our kitchen to the heart of the island, we’re cooking up hope, love, and relief.
One Love
From: Your Wah Gwan Family
