This is Violet. She is 17 and wants to be a doctor. She has two younger sisters that really look up to her and has always been an amazing role model for them. She loves music, movies, and all things pop culture. In her own words, she is the biggest Blink 182 fan in the world. She has a sparkling personality that is highlighted by her caring and compassionate nature.

On 11/2/24, she was hit by a car while crossing the street and suffered a traumatic brain injury, the full extent of which is still unknown. She has fought hard to stay alive despite extensive fractures to her face, nose, and eyes. Unfortunately, she had to undergo an emergency craniostomy to save her life, in which they had to remove portions of her skull. Due to the nature of her injuries, she is also at increased risk of stroke.

She has a long, difficult road ahead of her. She will need months of therapy to learn to walk and talk again. She will also need several surgeries to repair the damage to her face, particularly around her eyes, nose, and cheek bone. She may lose vision in one eye. Ultimately, we do not know what lasting damage she will have to live with for the rest of her life.

We are raising money to help cover some of her medical expenses. While I thank God every day that she is still alive, I want to give her a fighting chance to recover and regain her life. She is a fighter, but she will need help.
