Help Victoria Recover from a Medical Emergency and Car Accident
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
I'm reaching out on behalf of my daughter, Victoria, who has recently faced a series of frightening medical challenges that have turned her life upside down.
Since April, Victoria began experiencing repeated episodes of dizziness, lightheadedness, shortness of breath, heart palpitations, and at times even passing out (syncope). In early May, these episodes escalated, including chest pain and pain in her left arm—symptoms that became more severe and unpredictable.
On Memorial Day, while driving to work, Victoria began feeling dizzy and experiencing intense chest pain. Tragically, she lost consciousness behind the wheel and was involved in a car accident on Business I-40 in Winston-Salem. We are beyond grateful that God had His hand of protection over her that day—she survived, but the aftermath has been incredibly difficult.
Since then, Victoria has been undergoing testing and monitoring under the care of Atrium Baptist Hospital and has been referred to both a cardiologist and a neurologist for further evaluation. While her heart monitor showed sinus tachycardia and poor R-wave progression, doctors are still working toward a definitive diagnosis.
Victoria has been unable to work since the accident, and although she is now just beginning to return to work, the financial burden has become overwhelming. We are raising $3,000 to help cover:
• Ongoing medical expenses
• Everyday living costs during her time out of work
• Vehicle repairs from the accident
If you’re able, we humbly ask for your support during this challenging time—whether it’s through a donation, sharing this page, or offering a prayer. Every bit truly helps and means the world to our family.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.
With gratitude, Hope Shoaf and family.
