My name is Victoria Knight. I am a 35 year old independent woman who has never asked or needed a handout because of my work ethic and enthusiasm for the work I do helping to save our bees. I have been battling chronic myeloid leukemia since last June of 2023. I had a severe multi parasitic infection arise that required the cancer treatment to stop. It has been six months since I have been on cancer treatment. I am about to begin chemo again as my other infections have been healed. During the course of that six months the Leukemia I am battling skyrocketed out of control and is the highest it has ever been. I have a two year projected healing time ahead. Anything helps. A bit about me , I am a conservationist and have dedicated my life to helping this planet. I am a beekeeper of 15 years. I work in bee research specifically studying Apis Melifera and the parasitic Varroa mite which is a parasite that sucks the hemolymph from the honey bees abdomen. This weakens their immune system making them susceptible to many other diseases and illnesses. We have been breeding bees specifically for varroa mite resistant behavior for 12 years and have been able to vastly increase our local bee population in Nevada County, California. I am a world traveler and have studied yoga in India, worked on coral reef restoration in Sri Lanka and Thailand, and have hunted parasitic lion fish in Honduras that destroy the reef by eating all the sea urchins which keep coral in place

I have never asked for help before, but I really need it .My medical expenses and living expenses, have put me in a severe amount of debt. I am healing and I can’t wait to get back to my research work saving the bees!
