Hey everyone!
My cat Venus was diagnosed with large cell lymphoma late December 2024. She had a huge mass in her stomach and she had lost a lot of weight. She has come a long way since then; we just celebrated her 8th birthday! We're doing the CHOP protocol (6-month chemotherapy treatment plan) and she has been responding pretty well to it. The mass in her stomach is no longer present, there has been a resolution of her sternal lymph node enlargement, and she has been gaining her weight back!
Venus has been my right-hand gal since 2017. I've had her since she was a little bean. She's moved across the state with me, she's been by my side through life's ups and downs, and we were starting a new chapter that I was very excited for (our own apartment! She finally has her own place to roam. She's a lone wolf and has had to share her space with others for years) - we're not ready to close the book just yet. She's a real fighter!
I need a little help to pay the rest of the treatment; we just completed visit 10 out of 17, so we're almost done! I've had to pay for her treatment out of pocket and my funds are starting to run low.
If you're able to donate or share, anything helps, we will truly appreciate it!
