Hello to my gracious community,

I’m creating this GoFundMe page on behalf of my girlfriend, Valerye. She has been a dedicated nurse for over a decade and is currently working two jobs while attending graduate school to become a nurse practitioner. She pours everything she has into caring for others, even while pushing herself to the limit to reach her dream.

Despite doing everything we possibly can, neither of us is able to afford her education for the coming year. Asking for help does not come easily, but at this point, we truly need it. Valerye’s goal is to provide accessible, compassionate mental, physical, and reproductive healthcare—especially for those who often struggle to feel safe, heard, and respected in medical settings.

No matter the obstacles in her way, she has never stopped advocating for others or pursuing higher education. Watching her struggle financially while her only desire is to help people has been incredibly difficult. She gives so much of herself every single day, and she never asks for anything in return.

Valerye has worked her entire life toward becoming a nurse practitioner, and her skills, empathy, and dedication are invaluable. Until now, she has relied on federal loans to fund her education. Unfortunately, due to upcoming changes in how her program is classified, there will be significantly less federal funding available next year, leaving us without viable options.

Any donation—no matter the amount—would mean more than words can express. Even knowing that people care and believe in her would make a profound difference. If this page helps cover her tuition next year, I will be forever grateful and committed to paying that kindness forward in any way I can.

Valerye has no idea that I’m doing this. I just know how much love, strength, and compassion she brings into the world, and I want to do everything I can to support her dream—even when I can’t do it alone.
