I’m Valerie, I got Non Hodgkins Lymphoma at 33 years young (1997) didn’t get diagnosed until I was 38 (2002) I was working my full time job, raising kids, holding down the fort as best as I could, This disease zapped me of my energy, I had to have multiple surgeries, 17 sessions of Radiation (ruined my Right hip joint and Pelvis, Scarred my lungs, I had to undergo a total right hip replacement and my pelvis reshaped, then I had to undergo 1 year of drug therapy to restore my body/health I was ok for quite awhile, then in April of 2025 I just knew something was majorly wrong, I was experiencing similar symptoms as I was in 2002 only this time the symptoms were a little bit worse, I have 3 jumbo sized tumors in my neck, I went to the Doctor on 2 separate occasions in April, 2025 and they blew me off, no recommendations, referrals or medication so I made an appointment with a PA now I have a 5cm x 4 cm lump in my collarbone (physician’s Assistant) and she automatically called the UW Hospital and got me in immediately for a PET CT Scan and yep the results are horrific, scary, depressing devastating, It’s confirmed I have An aggressive form of Hodgkins Lymphoma, if I don’t seek treatments I will be dead in 12 months, The treatments are 3 different chemotherapy drugs in a port in my chest that lasts for 6 months, it’s going to take a major toll on my body, mind, and my overall health not to mention I will be bald in 7 weeks, so I can only ask that if possible donate $1 towards my medical expenses that are piling up, Thankyou so very much, I really appreciate whatever donation you can make, I would be very grateful, I just want to live I’m too young to die.
