Animal Rescue Kharkiv, active in Ukraine since 2016, saves animals from active war zones in Ukraine. This campaign will fund one month of vaccines for 160 rescued dogs, protecting them from deadly diseases and giving them a real chance to live, heal, and find homes.
Several times each week, our team at Animal Rescue Kharkiv (ARK) travels into some of the most dangerous areas of Ukraine to save dogs and cats left behind in the chaos of war.
A great many of our rescued animals arrive frightened, vulnerable, and often malnourished. The first step in giving them life again is vaccination.
For just $17 per dog, we can protect each one from six deadly diseases: distemper, parvovirus, hepatitis, parainfluenza, leptospirosis, and rabies. The full course includes two doses, the Nobivac DHPPI+LR vaccine upon arrival, then Nobivac DHPPI+L after 21 days to build lasting immunity.
It’s their shield against sickness. During this conflict, it’s their bulletproof vest.
When animals go unvaccinated, disease can spread quickly through shelters, costing lives and overwhelming our medical resources. Vaccination keeps our entire system functioning and allows us to keep rescuing more animals from the frontlines.
This campaign will provide vaccines for 160 dogs in our care right now. That’s 160 lives protected, 160 futures made possible.
Goal: $2,769 by December 31
