I'm Ms. Mcrae from Seattle, Washington. I am a 65 year old retired, disabled grandmother and great grandmother. I'm launching this fundraising campaign to save a young family from the ravages of war. In these difficult times the world is going through, people are living amidst the rubble and under the bombs of war. All donations raised will be used to support Mohammed and his family. I will collect them myself and send them to Mohammed. Mohammed's family consists of his wife, Samia, 27, his young son, Kinan, 3, Mohammed himself, 30, his elderly father, 72, who is in the hospital, and his brother's family of 10, including young children. I am Mohammed, a Palestinian living in the Gaza Strip. I am 30 years old, married, and have one child.

In the past, our life was beautiful, filled with security and stability. I had a beautiful home in Zahraa City and a generous family.

But everything changed when we witnessed the horrors of war.

I lost my home to the bombing, and it was destroyed as if it had never existed.

The occupying army forced us to flee, forcing my wife, child, and family to live in a tent without the most basic necessities of life, such as food, water, and medicine.

Our lives have become extremely difficult, filled with suffering, fear, tension, siege, poverty, and famine.

We are suffering severely from rising prices and food shortages, to the point that I am no longer able to support my family and my child, Kinan.

My child goes a long time without food, and they crave it desperately.

It is very cold at night, and we freeze in the tent. My child shivers from the lack of heating and blankets. Even rainwater constantly leaks into my tent, increasing my suffering and forcing me to buy a new tent every now and then and move around in search of safer places.

Sadly, we have lost everything that was beautiful in my life, past and present, and we have nothing left.

But in the midst of this chaos, my family remains my refuge, and I am determined to protect them from any further harm. Therefore, I appeal to you to help us flee Gaza and provide food and psychological support for my children.

I am struggling now to secure, protect, and survive them. Please do not ignore my message, and do your best to help me build a new future worthy of our value as human beings.

I only wish for a safe life for my family.

I appeal to every compassionate heart to extend a helping hand and not abandon us in the midst of this ongoing conflict.

We are human beings who deserve dignity and peace, and we must not allow war to divide us. Rather, we must dialogue in harmony, protect the safety of our loved ones, and support each other in times of crisis. “Please, do not leave us alone. We need your help now more than ever.”

‎أنا السيدة ماكراي من سياتل، واشنطن. أنا جدة متقاعدة، من ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، أبلغ من العمر 65 عاماً. أُطلق هذه الحملة لجمع التبرعات لإنقاذ عائلة شابة من ويلات الحرب. في هذه الأوقات العصيبة التي يمر بها العالم، يعيش الناس بين الأنقاض وتحت قنابل الحرب. ستُستخدم جميع التبرعات المُجمعة لدعم محمد وعائلته. سأجمعها بنفسي وأرسلها إلى محمد. تتكون عائلة محمد من زوجته سامية، 27 عاماً، وابنه الصغير كنان، 3 أعوام، ومحمد نفسه، 30 عاماً، ووالده المسن، 72 عاماً، الذي يرقد في المستشفى، وعائلة أخيه المكونة من 10 أفراد، بينهم أطفال صغار. ستُساعد هذه الحملة في دعم العديد من العائلات.

‎أنا محمد، فلسطيني أعيش في قطاع غزة. عمري 30 عاماً، متزوج، ولدي طفل واحد.

‎في الماضي، كانت حياتنا جميلة، مليئة بالأمن والاستقرار. كان لي منزل جميل في مدينة الزهراء وعائلة كريمة.

‎لكن كل شيء تغير عندما شهدنا أهوال الحرب.

‎فقدتُ منزلي جراء القصف، ودُمر كأنه لم يكن.

‎أجبرنا جيش الاحتلال على الفرار، مُجبرًا زوجتي وطفلي وعائلتي على العيش في خيمة دون أبسط مقومات الحياة، كالطعام والماء والدواء.

‎أصبحت حياتنا صعبة للغاية، مليئة بالمعاناة والخوف والتوتر والحصار والفقر والمجاعة.

‎نعاني بشدة من ارتفاع الأسعار ونقص الغذاء، لدرجة أنني لم أعد قادرًا على إعالة عائلتي وطفلي كنان.

‎يقضي طفلي وقتًا طويلًا دون طعام، وهم يتوقون إليه بشدة.

‎الجو بارد جدًا في الليل، ونتجمد في الخيمة. يرتجف طفلي من قلة التدفئة والبطانيات. حتى مياه الأمطار تتسرب باستمرار إلى خيمتي، مما يزيد من معاناتي ويدفعني لشراء خيمة جديدة بين الحين والآخر والتنقل بحثًا عن أماكن أكثر أمانًا.

‎للأسف، فقدنا كل ما كان جميلًا في حياتي، ماضيًا وحاضرًا، ولم يبق لنا شيء.

‎لكن في خضم هذه الفوضى، تبقى عائلتي ملاذي، وأنا عازم على حمايتهم من أي أذى إضافي. لذلك، أناشدكم مساعدتنا على الفرار من غزة وتوفير الطعام والدعم النفسي لأطفالي.

‎أكافح الآن لتأمينهم وحمايتهم والبقاء على قيد الحياة. أرجوكم لا تتجاهلوا رسالتي، وابذلوا قصارى جهدكم لمساعدتي في بناء مستقبل جديد يليق بقيمتنا كبشر.

‎لا أتمنى سوى حياة آمنة لعائلتي.

‎أناشد كل قلب رحيم أن يمد يد العون ولا يتخلى عنا في خضم هذا الصراع المستمر.

‎نحن بشر نستحق الكرامة والسلام، ويجب ألا نسمح للحرب أن تفرقنا. بل يجب أن نتحاور بتناغم، ونحمي سلامة أحبائنا، وندعم بعضنا البعض في أوقات الأزمات. "أرجوكم، لا تتركونا وحدنا. نحن بحاجة لمساعدتكم الآن أكثر من أي وقت مضى."
