This Mother’s Day, as many of us gather with our families in peace, two brave young souls—Mohammed and Waheed—are thousands of miles from home, carrying unimaginable stories of resilience and courage from Gaza.

Mohammed, once full of boundless energy, now navigates the world in a wheelchair. His smile tells a story that words can’t—one of loss, strength, and an unwavering will to live. Waheed, still just a child, bears injuries no child should endure. But in their eyes shines something unbreakable: hope.

These boys are among many children from Gaza who have faced the trauma of war and displacement. They are now on a healing journey, far from home, supported by the loving embrace of people like you.

On May 11th, at the “Meet & Greet” in Canton, MI, we come together to honor them, their mothers, and the spirit of all Gazan families who continue to endure with unimaginable strength.
