I remember the moment my mom started panicking. My stepdad hadn’t come home from work. She called him. Texted him. Nothing. The worry in her voice was real, and we had nowhere to look, no way to track him down.

Thankfully, he was okay—he had just worked overtime. But in that moment, all we could think about was what if he doesn’t come back?

For many families, this fear is constant. Whether it’s an unexpected delay, an ICE raid, or a sudden emergency, the uncertainty can be overwhelming. That’s why I created Unity Watch—to provide a way for our communities to stay informed, share alerts, and look out for each other.
