Help rehabilitate and train Turkey May. Turkey is an 8-month-old puppy who was found running down a busy road, covered in pluff mud, in early April. Before we found her, she had been living in a traumatic state of malnourishment and squalor. Her path was to fight and breed. Now she has a chance to live a relaxing life in a loving home. Her current foster family just lost both of their own rescued pitbulls in the span of 2 months. But we are committed to helping this dog out. Shelters are full and it is a rough world out there for pups like her, so the only option is helping her out.

When we cleaned the mud off of her, it was clear she was in a bad state. She has been treated for skin infections, fleas, and now she is spayed. She is fully vaccinated and gaining weight with a nice shiny coat now. She loves to snuggle and go on walks. But she will steal your socks.

So, her next step is attending obedience training in May. We want to ensure she has the best chance at being a model citizen and that the anxiety related to her past trauma gets addressed. Focused training will be rehabilitative as well as educational. After completing this 1-month program, Turkey May will be ready to get out there and live her best life. The cost of this training is $2000, and we are asking for small donations to help offset this cost.
