Tuesday's Journey to Health and Adoption
Donation protected
As some of you know, I found a stray dog (named Tuesday) right outside of my apartment three weeks ago. She was running down a very busy street, crossed over and settled into a bush. She was exhausted and terrified, but I was able to get her to my porch and then later inside. Since then, she has been treated for 2 ear infections, a UTI, gastrointestinal infection, and her nails trimmed. One nail was so long it was curling under her paw. She is now also being treated for heart disease - she's been to the vet 3 times and will need to go back 2 more times in the coming weeks. One for a check up on her ear infections and the other to see how the meds for the heart disease are working.
So far, I have spent about $600 on this sweet girl. Luckily, we are now set up with the Humane Society of Central Texas and they paid for her last visit, I will also however be operating this fundraiser to help with their costs in supporting her as they are an essential rescue here in Central Texas and can always use the support.
I named her Tuesday and she is an AMAZING dog. If you know me well, you know I have an interest in animal behavior because of my complicated little guy, Bob. Tuesday has shown zero aggression towards humans; she just wants love even if she is nervous and has some hurdles still to overcome. She has been playing so well with my 5lb dog, Bernie. Okay, this isn't her adoption page, but she's the best. I will be posting more about her and this journey soon!
