I'm Brigette, Kortney's Sister-in-law, Trevor's Auntie B. I'm here to help Kortney spread the word of what's happening with Trevor, and since I'm in Cali, the only thing I felt I could do was to help her with communication and start a GoFundMe.

Trevor is 6 years old, loves to play Roblox, T-Ball, and play with his animals at home (cats, dogs, goats, chickens). He loves Spider-Man, Superman, Iron Man, comics, anything green or rainbow and his favorite movie right now is Wall-E.

This past Sat 8/3/24 he passed out while at the Farmer's market, and was taken by ambulance to Casa Grande hospital. There they deemed it to "just" be heat exhaustion & released him. He went home & was back to feeling normal throughout Sunday, but woke up Monday morning with stomach pains and vomiting. Kortney's gut feeling was to take him to Phoenix Children's Hospital instead of CG, to make sure he wasn't still dehydrated. (Thank goodness for her momma intuition)

PCH ran multiple diagnostic tests (xrays, MRIs, etc) including bloodwork, and found his white blood cell count was severely high & diagnosed him with T-Cell Leukemia. Currently he's in the ICU. They've done lumbar testing and started chemo therapy through IV. They wake him every hour to monitor him, but we know he's in good hands there. They said he'll stay in the ICU until his potassium and electrolytes are stabilized, then they will move him to Oncology, where he'll stay for an unknown amount of time. It's super early, so Kortney and the family don't have a lot of answers as of right now. But this page was created so she can update everyone in one spot instead of having to update multiple people at once. We know you all love and care for Trevor and their family and want what's best for him. For now, the best way to communicate with Kortney is through Facebook Messenger only please. It's silent, so it won't wake her, but that way she can see your messages of support and answer when/ if she can.

Kortney just started a new job, where she does not have any "paid" time off, so any time she's taking, is unpaid leave to be with Trevor. Luis is there and will be driving back and forth to work. We know this will be a bumpy road for Kortney and the family. They will incur expenses traveling back and forth to the hospital & work, eating out, hotels or places to stay near or at the hospital. I don't want Kortney & Luis to worry about gas, food money or upcoming bills. Please donate what you can, every little bit helps.
