Donate to Tracy's Stroke Recovery Fund

Hey y’all! My name is Tamara, and I am the mother of 5 children. I’m raising $$ to help with medical bills for my son Tracy. Tracy is 33, and believe it or not, he had an ischemic stroke early Sunday morning (10/13/24). Dizziness, headache, and then weakness and numbness of his left extremities all happened in that order and prompted him to call me for help. His big sister was able to get to him the fastest, and thank God she got to him when she did. They were met at the hospital by Tracy’s little brother, and with a BP (blood pressure) of 249/136. I showed up minutes later, and the hospital team had taken him back immediately to treat him for a stroke! I couldn’t believe my son, being years younger than me, is having a stroke! Well, it’s now Wednesday, and we are looking at him possibly getting released. I have spent 4 long days with him, never leaving his side. With that being said, now here come the bills. He will need all the financial help he can get. He will miss some work due to having to see some new specialists and equipment that he will need and medications. Understand he works and has medical insurance, but he has never used it, so his deductibles will be crazy. And let me add that he did not miss any paid days of work. Luckily, he was on vacation BUT can’t return immediately back to work, so he will have a loss of pay there!

STROKE who would have thought for a 33-year-old male. Life finds crazy ways to open your eyes to all possibilities, and I’m getting to leave with my boy! Happy Mamma here! Please help in any way possible, and thanks for anything you can do!
