We are raising money to help our sister Tracy with some unexpected bills due to a medical emergency. On June 18th she went into a recovery house in NewJersey. She has been working hard in the past months to gain and maintain her sobriety. As part of that journey she opted to have a shot that helped with cravings. As a result, she had rare and serious complications leading to a hospital stay, and several surgeries thus far. She was released from the hospital and sent home. She should have been sent to a rehabilitation facility with a wound vac, but insurance denied that. She goes to the doctor every few days for wound checks. Her last visit on August 7th, the wound was not healing well and the doctor gave her cream that has to be placed within the wound and is beyond excruciating when applied. Tracy had just gained employment days prior to all of this. Because of how large the wound is, where the wound is, and how painful it is, she is unable to work at this time. She has rent that has to be paid weakly and is currently two weeks behind. They will give her up to a month without paying due to the circumstances before she has to find other living arrangements. She also needs medical supplies that she is rapidly running through. Then there are things like food, transportation to her appointments, and prescription co-pays. Tracy is not one to ask for help, even during a time like this…but she needs our help. She is always the one helping others and being there when needed. Please donate what you can and share. Let’s help Tracy stay in the recovery house where she is otherwise doing very well at and help with some of the other costs incurred during this time.
