Rise again: Providing basic relief for victims of Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica

Hello everyone! I am Gigi and helping out a good friend to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica. My friend, Tracey, is dedicated to doing what she can in order to provide some relief for her family, friends, and citizens of Jamaica who are in dire need of our assistance.

The plan is to request donations of non-perishable food items and toiletries from family and friends here in the US and send the items to Jamaica. The costs of the barrels (containers) and shipping and purchasing are reasons why this GoFundMe is started. Also, you can donate monetary donations here instead of the needed items being collected if you prefer. Your donations will be of great help to provide basic needs for the community. Melissa caused extensive damage in Jamaica. So many are homeless and hungry. Your donation will be distributed by a relief organization in Jamaica contacted by Tracey.
