Hello, I'm Tonya, and I'm currently recovering from a stroke that's left me unable to work. As my medical bills and living expenses continue to mount, any financial assistance during this challenging time would be incredibly helpful.

I have known Tonya for over 20 years, and no matter the situation, she is the type of person you will always find working towards a solution. Ms. Tonya is one of the most amazing and selfless human beings that I have ever met and is always giving to others, whether through her lifelong work with at-risk youth, through her community, or her youth fellowship. Ms. T is constantly called on by others and steps in when others will not. Ms. Tonya's sense of humor, laughter, and realness is contagious in so many ways. She commands a room and knows how to keep people engaged, especially young people.

At 61 years old, just over a year ago, Tonya had a stroke and was no longer cleared to work in her career field and passion, youth mental health. For the past year, she has focused on getting healthy and working towards being able to work again. Her most recent EKG showed a healthy heart, and she is on a positive road to recovery, but isn't quite there. She has exhausted her resources and is finally asking for support and help for some of her medical bills and basic needs.
