Hello, my name is Anthony Marino. I’m married and have a beautiful wife, 4 children, and 10 grandchildren.

I have been in kidney failure for 10 years. I have been on peritoneal dialysis for 20 months. I have finally got all my testing done and now I’m on the list to get a kidney transplant. I will be having the transplant in Salt Lake City, Utah, and I live in Idaho Falls, Idaho. I will have to stay in Salt Lake City, Utah. I should be in the hospital for 5 days. Then I need to stay in the area for 6 weeks for appointments 3 times a week after the surgery to make sure there are no complications.

I do have a donor who is being tested now that I’m cleared. She is an amazing young lady from my church. She is being tested at this time. So far, the medical bills have been outrageous. The staff at the University of Salt Lake said my portion will be approximately $12,000 in medical bills, medications, travel, food, and a 6-week stay in a hotel. Anything you can do to help will be greatly appreciated. I put my trust in God, and I know He will get me through this.
