Hi, I'm Tom Remy and I have recently been diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis. It is a debilitating disease. I started treatment on 10/27/25. My course of treatment is Intravenous Immunoglobulin (IVIg). This is administered for 5 days in a row, then every other week. The cost of the treatment is $9,000 per dose ($45,000 for the first week). I do have insurance that fortunately covers a portion of the expense, but there is still a significant part out of pocket. It is very humbling to ask for assistance. I certainly never expected to have a diagnosis like this and the related expenses.
