Donate to Tom McKinney's Fight Against Pulmonary Fibrosis

Hello! I am making this GoFundMe for my grandparents. If you know them, you know this is the absolute last thing they would ever want to do. In 2019 Pappy was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis. This is a progressive disease with no cure or helpful treatment. Over the last year things have gotten worse and they are looking into whether he would be a candidate for a transplant. Pittsburgh said he was not a candidate, so they are obtaining a second opinion at Cleveland Clinic. Cleveland is much more in depth with testing. They went down for 4 days of testing and he is progressing to level 2 where they will stay there for 5 days. Traveling is taxing due to the amount of oxygen needed to get there and stay there. We are making this to raise funds to help cover travel cost and any medical bills they will accumulate along the way. If he gets a transplant he will have 12-15 new medications which will also add up quickly.
