This GoFundMe is in support of our friend, Tina Ferguson, to help cover living expenses
during her upcoming leave of absence from work. Tina will be having a major surgery to
remove a recurrence of Appendix Cancer at Mayo Clinic on June 13. Since she
recently changed companies, she doesn’t have much PTO accrued. Short-term
disability only covers 60% of her salary.
Those of you who know her know that she is active in supporting other cancer warriors.
She works a full-time job, and also has “side hustles” such as trivia host and karaoke
jockey. This additional income covers bills like car payments and car insurance. She will
be unable to work those jobs for a while.
She also started a cookie company, “Cora’s Cookies,” to offset some medical costs and
prescriptions as well as fundraise for other cancer patients. If you would like to order
