Donate to Tim's Post-Transplant Care

Tim has waited 8 years for a new kidney after his first transplant failed in 2017. Since then, he has been on dialysis 3 days a week, been on fluid restrictions, endured multiple surgeries for grafts and revisions, and just generally not feeling well.
On April 18, he was able to get a new kidney at OHSU. His surgery was long due to unexpected bleeding; what should have been a 3-hour surgery was over 5 hours. He spent the next week adjusting to steroids and new medication—all while still doing dialysis in the hospital.
Last night, April 26, he was readmitted to the hospital after going to the ER. We aren't sure what's going on yet, but he's had additional blood work, ultrasounds, and a CT scan done. This readmission will undoubtedly extend his recovery timelines.
I've started this fundraiser to help cover any out-of-pocket costs Tim may incur and the cost of the hotel and food for his recovery while he needs 24/7 care.
