Hi, my name is Barb Seiter. I started caring for homeless and feral cats in 2020. Right now I feed and shelter 30 cats. My husband has trapped 56 cats for spaying/neutering. We have found homes for numerous kittens. We started what we call Thumb’s Place in 2020. We named our shelter after our polydactyl cat named Thumbs who passed away in December 2020. He had been rescued from the streets so he knew what it was like to be hungry & homeless. Caring for this many kitties can be expensive. Any help is much needed. Not only do we provide food & shelter but also medical care and end of life care. We have taken some of our sick kitties into our home before they passed away. We provide 24/7 care & services. We furnish 3 meals a day plus treats before bed. We have heated water bowls, blankets and heating pads for our shelters. Petting is optional and also available, some just opt out of this added service. When a vacancy opens up it is filled almost immediately. Thanks again, help me help all the kitties❤️❤️
