In Loving Memory of Samuel Jacob Holmes – Memorial Scholarship Fund

On July 26, our beloved son Jake tragically passed away in the wreck on I-485 in Charlotte. He was a proud graduate of North Gaston High School and carried his Wildcat pride throughout his life. In honor of his memory and the impact he had on those who knew him, we are establishing a memorial scholarship fund in his name

In lieu of flowers or personal donations to our family, we kindly ask that you consider contributing to the Samuel Jacob Holmes Memorial Scholarship Fund. All proceeds will go directly to support graduating seniors at North Gaston High School—students who demonstrate dedication, perseverance, and a passion for their future, just as Jake did.

This fund will help provide financial assistance to seniors pursuing their dreams beyond high school, and it will serve as a lasting tribute to a young man whose life was taken too soon.
