My sweet mama was diagnosed with Terminal Stage 4 Mesothelioma in October of 2024. On a mere Tuesday, after having fluid in her stomach and questioning the cause, she was told she had only months to live. She started chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatment and she fought hard. Some days were good, others she was intense pain. After multiple stays in the hospital for blood clots near her heart and fluid returning in her abdomen, after fighting like a true warrior, it gradually got worse. By the end of July 2025, things took a turn and she went into Jesus’ arms August 3rd 2025.
I’m asking for donations to help find a solution, to stop and a cure to this horrible cancer. No one deserves to go through this type of agony.
Every contribution, big or small, makes a real impact. Even just a few dollars can help move this mission forward and reach those who need it most.
If you can’t donate right now, sharing this fundraiser is incredibly helpful to meso warriors.
Thank you so much. It means the world to me.
The Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation, Inc.
The mission of the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation (Meso Foundation) is to eradicate mesothelioma as a life-ending disease. Malignant mesothelioma is a rare cancer of the linings of the chest or abdomen. Asbestos exposure is the only known cause. The Meso Foundation solicits and rigorously reviews applications, and then awards significant grants, for research on the prevention, early detection, and treatment of mesothelioma. Through its web site and literature, its direct communications, and annual Symposium the Foundation provides patients, family members and physicians with hope, encouragement, and information. The Meso Foundation employs a full-time mesothelioma oncology nurse to help patients navigate their treatments.
