Kim & Lily’s Health Journey

Hey Everyone,

I’d like to share my best friend’s story and the health challenges that her family has been dealt. Kim, at the young age of 33, has been diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. She will need to undergo 16 weeks of chemo, followed by a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. November 1st is her first day of chemo. Kim has also had fertility treatments to retrieve her eggs prior to starting this journey. With all of this going on, it will put her out of work for quite some time.

At the same time, their oldest daughter, Lily, who is 3 years old, has had a very complicated form of Epilepsy for the last two years. Lily had brain surgery earlier this year and has had countless stays in the hospital, with two more surgeries ahead and an ICU stay this month for extensive testing.

Between Kim and Lily’s health struggles, the medical bills are endless. As we are entering the season of giving and the holidays, please find it in your heart to help this family with any contribution that you can. Let’s give them the gift of alleviating the financial burden of getting these girls healthy again!
