BUILD A HAND & GIVE HOPE
We are a team from the ESSEC & Mannheim Executive MBA program, united by a shared mission to create meaningful impact through our Social Class Project — a unique initiative that blends compassion, innovation, and education.
In partnership with The Hand Project, we are assembling mechanical prosthetic hands to be donated to individuals around the world who have lost theirs due to war, illness, or accidents. But this initiative is about more than prosthetics — it’s about restoring dignity, reclaiming independence, and fostering meaningful education.
As part of our mission, we’re also leading interactive workshops in schools across the Rhein-Neckar region in Germany and the Paris area — giving back to the very communities we’re fortunate to be part of during our studies.
These workshops are designed to spark curiosity in the power of STEM — science, technology, engineering, and math — as tools for real-world change, where solidarity matters and people count on one another.
Through hands-on experiences, young students will not only gain technical skills but also develop empathy and a sense of global responsibility. The prosthetic hands they help build will go on to transform the lives of those who receive them.
Your support helps us fund prosthetic kits, deliver educational workshops, and ensure these life-changing devices reach the people who need them most.
Together, through every workshop and every hand we build, we can inspire young minds and transform lives.
