At the heart of this scholarship fund is Eleanor Coogan. Eleanor started at Redwood Literacy in 2019 as a struggling reader just beginning her journey through the Wilson Reading System®. Fast-forward to 2025, and Eleanor has completed all 12 steps of Wilson® and has made incredible growth.

To celebrate all that Eleanor has accomplished, the Coogan family is inviting others to donate to the Eleanor Coogan Scholarship Fund for Literacy* for other students like Eleanor to access this life-changing intervention at Redwood.

*100% of these funds will be used for student scholarships.
