the Cattera Family's Road to Recovery
Donation protected

Hello community,
It is with a heavy heart that I share the unfortunate news about our beloved bartender.
She was involved in a car accident on her way back from Florida, a distressing event that took place in Kentucky during unfavorable weather conditions.
The vehicle hydroplaned, causing the van to spin out of control.
Thankfully, they narrowly avoided the guardrail by a mere 20 feet before veering off the highway and colliding with a cluster of trees.
Her father was behind the wheel. In the car was Chelsea accompanied by Kaiden and Leo.
The fact that they survived is nothing short of a miracle; definitely had someone watching over them.
Despite the grace that spared their lives, they find themselves stranded in Kentucky at the hospital, far from home, as they set out on the long road to recovery.
For one full week now, Chelsea has already been hospitalized with no definite timeline for her discharge.
Due to her surgery and the removal of severely damaged intestines from the accident, she has a tube inserted through her throat to extract stomach fluids. She is unable to consume any food and will require assistance even after returning home to take care of herself and her children. The tube was inserted because her bowels are not functioning properly. Within six days, she has only consumed ice chips.
Kaiden, suffering from a fractured spine, faces several months bound in a restrictive brace.
The trauma they have endured has left both the children and their mother grappling with the aftermath, focusing all their efforts on recuperation and regaining strength.
The path to recovery and going back to their day to day life is lengthy and unpredictable.
Chelsea will be out of work for an extended period of time, so I am reaching out to ask for any assistance in relieving the financial burden on this family.
Simply sharing the message, even if you are unable to donate, can help connect with someone else who may be able to offer assistance.
Thank you all for helping this family focus on healing rather than financial problems.
