My son and I are headed to the Busia Compassionate Children’s Home in Kenya Africa this Christmas to provide a joyful Christmas for 52 children, each with a remarkable stories of resilience.

In addition to bringing Christmas gifts and delicious dinner celebration for the children who live at the orphanage, it is my heartfelt hope to deliver a one-time special gift of $20,000 towards the annual needs of the children.

We have already received donations of $11,950 ($6,950 through GoFundMe and another $5,000 remitted separately) .

If you can help me reach this goal, it would be an amazing thing to deliver this special gift while I'm at the orphanage in Busia on Christmas Day.

Through the great work of the Worldwide Credit Union Foundation...along with the work and generosity of generous individuals, credit unions and credit union leaders around the world... hundreds of children have been helped, saved, and cared for through this orphanage for nearly 20 years.

Some essential needs remain, though and together we can easily solve them.

While the orphanage’s day-to-day operating costs are funded and have helped to provide a continuously safe and nurturing space, limited resources means challenges like bed bug infestations, worn-out clothing, school uniforms dilapidated from use every school day, along with maintenance and basic infrastructure needs are a constant battle.
