- Hi my name is Terel and I'm reaching out for help during this most challenging time of my life. I have B raf V600E gene mutation genetically that cause papillary thyroid cancer with an aggressive Hurtle cell variant. I also have (TCV) tall cell variant. The tall cell variant has more aggressive treatment has a higher rate of metastasized and closer monitoring in the future. I am a pool nurse without benefits and the sole provider to my household. My financial needs are for medical bills medication basic needs food utility housing expenses .I hope to raise funds to cover medical bills on going treatment and travel expenses for my appointments at City of Hope in Zion. My goal is to raise this money in 6 months. I appreciation any support big or small every donation no matter the size brings me one step closer to my goal and my means the world to me. I was diagnosed March of 2024. My primary doctor miss interpreted my first scan which showed I had cancer and needed a biopsy so that's why my first biopsy wasn't till almost 2025 the end of December on the 31, this has affected me emotionally physically and financially. My treatment plan has been multiple surgeries,biopsies, scans.I will be facing radiation, blood work and more scans. Again your help will go towards medical bills, testing, lab work, medication, travel costs, lost income due to inability to work and household expenses. Any support will ease the burden on me and allow me to focus on my healing.
