From my Mom, Jennifer Grove-
“A dear friend of mine has been battling some health issues and unfortunately hasn't been able to work this past year. It's been extremely difficult as she's always been a hard worker. I met Tasha over 11 years ago when she was one of my mom's caregivers at the assisted living. She went above and beyond to care for our mom Eileen, in an extremely loving way, always making sure that she felt safe and loved. It meant the world to our family as it was an emotional roller coaster with mom battling Alzheimer's. In this time of need for Tasha, we're asking for anyone willing to help out so that Tasha can get back on her feet and pay some bills as she is completely at a loss right now. Thank you all so much ❤️”
A more detailed note from Tasha-
“I had to have anterior and posterior surgery that was scheduled for July, but weakness and numbness in my extremities caused problems, and a neck MRI was ordered. It showed I had a tumor in my spine, which is rare. This paused back surgery until August and continued ongoing appointments and testing with doctors trying to figure out how to treat this tumor because surgery is not an option as it would lead to being in a wheelchair. I continued X-rays, blood tests, monthly MRIs, and CAT scans with symptoms that progressed over this time. Finally, I started getting answers recently and learned that this tumor is growing as it wasn't growing before. A few more tests and the neurosurgeon said it's MS. I am currently going to therapy appointments and recently got diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis and still have ongoing serious back problems. This causes weakness in my limbs, shooting and burning pain in my hands, and inflammation. I can barely use my hands the majority of the day. All of this has put me behind in all of my bills, at risk of losing my home and car with the extreme medical bills.”
