12/28/24 update.

On 12/24/24 Tammy passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. Please continue to pray for our family during this difficult time.

We are still sharing and accepting donations to help cover Tammy’s medical bills and funeral costs.

Hello! I am Sara the daughter of Tammy and Mark Adams. I am helping to raise money for medical expenses for my mom Tammy.

Tammy was admitted to UK Hospital on 10/17/24 with life threatening medical issues. Upon arrival we was told she had a Pulmonary Embolism which was causing her right side of her heart to not function properly and breathing difficulties. She was immediately taken to surgery and placed on ECMO to help take the strain off of her heart.

While scans were completed we have also found that she also has some suspicious places in various parts of her body. Currently we are waiting for her team to find the best course of action to biopsy two of the most concerning areas. This should happen sometime the week of 10/28/24.

In the meantime Tammy is still at the hospital being monitored closely due to the PE. We are unsure how long she will be in the hospital and due to a complication from the ECMO she will also require physical therapy.

Due to Tammy’s current health status she has not been able to work. With how critically ill she has been her husband Mark has been by her side since she was taken to the hospital. We are asking for any donations to go towards medical bills, travel expenses, and to help with basic bills while both are out of work.
