Hi, my name is Sydni. I am a 23-year-old disabled artist living with severe epilepsy, and I'm preparing for one of the biggest challenges of my life: Brain Surgery.
Art has always been my lifeline. I earned two college degrees, one in the arts, and I've built my practice around painting and ceramics, creating pieces that reflect my journey, emotions, heart, and hope. But epilepsy has made that journey incredibly difficult. My seizures are frequent and unpredictable and have taken a toll on my health, independence, and ability to drive or work.
Now, after years of trying every treatment available, my doctors have recommended brain surgery as the next step. It is terrifying but potentially a life-changing procedure. While I am hopeful, I'm also overwhelmed by the financial and emotional weight of what lies ahead.
What your Support Will Help With:
Medical Costs for brain surgery, hospitalization, and recovery
Post Surgery Rehabilitation and therapy
Living Expenses during recovery
Art and Studio supplies to help me continue to heal and create
This fundraiser isn't just about surviving- it's about helping me continue to live fully and creatively. Art is my voice, my therapy, and my future. With your help, I can focus on healing without the crushing stress of financial uncertainty.
Donate whatever you can as every dollar counts.
Share with friends and family and art lovers,
Send words of encouragement- I read every word, and it brings me strength.
