Animal Manor Sanctuary
Huguenot, New York
Dear Friend of the Animals,
I’m writing to you with an urgent plea from Animal Manor Sanctuary, a safe haven in Huguenot, New York for abused, abandoned, and unwanted animals. Since taking over as Executive Director in July 2024, I’ve come face-to-face with the deep financial challenges threatening our mission—and I’m reaching out in the hope that, with your support, we can continue to give these animals the love and second chances they deserve.
Animal Manor has long been a place where the forgotten are remembered. Our sanctuary is home to cats, farm animals, and other creatures who have nowhere else to go. Many come to us sick, injured, neglected, or traumatized. We do everything we can to heal and protect them—but we can’t do it without you.
When I stepped in last year, I inherited not just a sanctuary full of lives depending on us, but also urgent repair needs and outstanding debts. We’ve made progress, but we are still struggling to stay afloat. Every dollar we receive helps us pay for veterinary care, food, shelter, medications, barn and facility maintenance, and more.
Today, I am asking you to consider making a tax-deductible donation to help keep Animal Manor Sanctuary running. Whether it’s $10 or $1,000, every gift makes a real impact. You can donate online here or by mailing a check to:

We are also in desperate need of volunteers—people who are willing to lend a hand with animal care, repairs, fundraising, or simply offering their time and compassion.
Please help us continue to be a voice for the voiceless. Together, we can ensure that every animal who comes through our gates finds not just safety—but a family that truly cares.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
With gratitude and hope,
Diane Donahue
