Hey there! My name is Kara, I'm a sophomore and honors student at Calhoun Community College. For my community research project, I am establishing a scholarship fund for at least one student mom at my school. I spend my free time volunteering at a pregnancy resource center, and I have seen firsthand how difficult it can be to go to or finish school due to financial struggles. This scholarship fund is dedicated to helping young mothers pursue their education and build brighter futures for themselves and their children.
