In the early morning hours of October 11, 2025, Vanessa was a passenger in a car that hit a tree. The driver was unhurt; however, Vanessa sustained life-threatening injuries and was medevacked to Fairfax Hospital. Vanessa was left with multiple fractures, including in both wrists, 3 ribs, the left side of her face, and her femur bone in 7 places. Vanessa was in surgery for hours and will have permanent rods and screws in her leg. She is currently wheelchair-bound and undergoing physical therapy to learn to walk again.

Currently, Vanessa is recovering at home with the assistance of her mom and extended family. She is unable to work and is solely reliant on others for support. Please help Vanessa offset her medical bills and support her recovery journey.
