Friends of Brian and the rest of the Williams family, please share this page with others who would like to support Emily and the kids through this tragic time. Funds raised will go directly to Emily to offset whatever she needs as she works through this time of need. Please continue to pray for the family and if you're able to do more than give financially, reach out to her directly.
A HUGE thank you to https://www.activefence.com/, Brian's employer, for offering to match all of the gifts raised here!!

--------6/26 ------------
Today we learned the life shattering news that Brian was killed in an accident climbing Jack Mountain in the North Cascades. He was the love of my life and we had sixteen good years together.
He was always full of life and energy and loved me and our kids so much. He also adored our families and friends, and loved God and getting to share the good news about Jesus has done for us with others. He enjoyed theology, current events, and thinking deeply, using all those brains of his to graduate from the Air Force Academy and Harvard and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary with distinction, going on to have a successful career in online Trust & Safety, but ultimately he said every day that he is just a family man and wants nothing more than for our kids to grow up and know Jesus. Playing legos with our kids, getting time with friends and mountaineering were his favorite activities, bringing him so much joy. I always struggled to let him go climbing, but he always came home overjoyed at his time communing with God and nature while at altitude.
He had just gotten a rooftop tent for his Subaru and was absolutely thrilled to take the boys out in it last weekend into the north cascades, not far from where he passed away yesterday.
I do not know how to move forward or what to do, nor how to raise and provide for our children on my own but I am so grateful for the family and friends coming around us in these dark days. God is always good, and because of Jesus we can trust that all wrong things will be made right in the end.

Friends, I am stunned and weeping to see your kindness and generosity to provide for our family. In our family, Brian worked very hard to provide for us and we decided long ago to have me be the stay at home parent and homeschool. I do not know in the days ahead how I will now provide for our family but your generosity is a very real help to that end.
Brian's company ActiveFence let me know they will match any contributions given here.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We will have a memorial service for Brian on Saturday 7/22, at my parent's church in Kent, because our own church is a bit too small for this. (This is the church I grew up in and where we were married). Details are still being worked out. All are invited, please join us. Thank you all for your incredible outpouring of love and support.

Friends, your generosity moves me to tears nearly every hour. I see so many names here on this list of people precious to Brian and me, some of you we haven't seen in years, some of you that knew Brian but I haven't met yet, all of you sharing so sacrificially. I cannot begin to express my gratitude. So much love to you all.

Our first round of bills since Brian's passing has come due and I was able to use your wildly generous donations to my family to pay them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

For our friends all over the world who can’t be here in person, we hope to provide a live stream which we will link on this page (https://www.facebook.com/events/1417256099063781?ref=newsfeed) when it gets closer.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all the love, support, meals, tributes and prayers. We are getting through this one day at a time with God’s help and kindness.

Update for the memorial: Brian’s mom and stepdad are providing Chipotle for everyone for lunch, and my parents are providing apple pie. We would be honored if you can stay and join us for lunch after the service.
The service will be live-streamed through the Faith Church website https://www.faithkent.org/. Check the Facebook link above as we get closer for a direct link.
I forgot to say this in the original event description but kids are more than welcome at the service.
Thank you all for your incredible love and support.

I cannot thank you all enough for the all the support, generosity and kindness you have shown me and the kids. Thank you to everyone who came to the memorial and watched online. The kids and I feel so blessed by the outpouring of love and support. This gofundme continues to astonish me and move me to tears. Thanks to your generosity, I will be able to continue homeschooling and staying home with the kids for the time being. I am deeply grateful to not have to make any drastic life changes at this time. Being able to stay in our home and continue life without any further losses beyond losing Brian is a gift I did not expect when he died. Thank you.
And a huge thank you to his employer, ActiveFence, for their incredible 100k contribution. Brian had worked there less than one year, and they've shown truly impressive integrity and generosity as a company. Thank you.
