This fundraiser is being organized for the Everitt family as they face the unimaginable heartbreak of losing a devoted husband, loving father, and the cornerstone of their family far too soon.

There are no words that can truly capture the pain of this loss. In an instant, Teagan, Cuyler, and their mom Shelley have had their world forever changed. As they navigate the grief, shock, and uncertainty that follows such a sudden tragedy, we hope to surround them with the same love, kindness, and support they have so generously given to others throughout the years.

Many in our community know Teagan and Cuyler through their involvement in The 714 Wasaga Beach Air Cadet Program, the YMCA, and their schools, where they have grown from young participants into leaders and camp counsellors, always willing to lend a hand, encourage others, and make a positive impact. Their dad was incredibly proud of the people they were becoming and the dreams they were working so hard to achieve.

As the family begins the difficult journey ahead, our goal is to ease some of the burdens that accompany such a devastating loss. With their father being self-employed, the financial challenges ahead are significant and often unpredictable. Funds raised will help provide stability and support during the months and years to come, allowing their mom the opportunity to take time away from work if needed, care for her children, and focus on healing.

Your contribution will help ensure Teagan and Cuyler have access to the support services they may need, including counselling and therapy, cover the cost of college or the programs they are looking to take with their career choices, while also helping with everyday living expenses and unforeseen costs that arise after the loss of a loved one. Most importantly, it will help provide the family with the time, space, and resources needed to grieve without the constant weight of financial worry.
