My name is Mike and I am raising funds for my friend of 30+ years, Steve Eckhardt and his family. Steve is a diamond. He is that one guy that everyone meets and loves instantly, especially once he laughs. He is a hard working, family focused father who is raising 4 kids with his beautiful wife Fran. Steve even has the privilege to coach his kids hockey teams.

Last week Steve suffered from several strokes and was rushed to hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. He currently has limited speech, with no movement or feeling on his one side. There is ongoing bleeding in his brain and a serious heart condition has since been identified, further complicating the overall situation and his recovery.
