Hello, dear friends. My name is Emma, and I’ve created this GoFundMe to support Mapesa, a truly kind-hearted individual who cares for 30 orphans in Uganda. These children, despite facing immense challenges, continue to show remarkable resilience and hope for a better future. However, with limited resources, it’s difficult to meet all of their essential needs, which is why I’m reaching out to compassionate people like you for help.

They are in need of support in the following areas:

• Monthly food supplies

• Clothing and school uniforms

• Mattresses, bedsheets, and blankets

• School supplies (pencils, pens, books, shoes)

• School fees

Additionally, the water source for these children is contaminated, which causes frequent infections. Regular trips to the pharmacy are required to purchase treatments that purify the water, as well as medicine for the children. With sufficient funds, Mapesa will be able to dig a borehole (as shown in the image below) to provide clean water, benefiting not only the children but the entire community.
