Donate to support the Barna Family after Eaton Fire

Our dear friends, Greg, Rachel, Henry, Louis and Sophia Barna have lost their home in the Eaton Fire in Altadena, CA. Fortunately, they are all safe, including their dog, Cosmo.

We have known the Barna family for years. Greg and Preston first met while working on an HBO series together, coincidentally as we were applying to enter the dual Mandarin language program. Sagan and Louis remained connected throughout the pandemic through Dungeons & Dragons and they are now part of our Bosco Tech High School family. Rachel and I have been hiking Eaton Canyon/Henninger Flats at least once or twice weekly since the lockdown, spending a lot of time sharing the trials and joys of parenting. As they begin to process this catastrophic loss, they will need financial assistance to cover basic necessities. Please consider helping this beloved family as they work to rebuild their lives.
