Healthcare in Sirembe Village, Kenya
Donation protected
Sirembe Village, in rural Western Kenya, is not fortunate enough to have the services of a medical doctor at the local clinic. Patients must travel 20km in hopes of finding a physician. In June 2022, we were so lucky to receive the expertise and care of Dr. Hooman Yaghoobzadeh, his wife Deborah and their son Liyam, who treated over 450 people in less than a week at no cost.
We send enormous gratitude and love to the doctor and his family and we look forward to having them and their friends in Sirembe every year!
Funds raised will be used to support the ongoing operations of the Traditional Knowledge and Land Preservation Foundation Kenya (TRAKLAP) which includes the Sirembe Dispensary, the village resource center and TRAKLAP's activities across the Sirembe community.
We miss you Liyam, Deborah and Dr. Yaghoobzadeh!
